enough about Ivan and Gluestick Boy. This weather makes me want to paint cute birds like Susan. I am so over schoolwork. Stick a fork in me, I am DONE.

best assignment yet

I am in love with my homework right now. We are editing live interview footage of great deisngers. I've been assigned Ivan Chermayeff, one of my personal favorites. The interview is rich, full of personality. It's as if I am a fly on the wall, watching him work. The editing is harder - he is all over the place and rarely ends a sentence, yikes. The younger guy is Ivan's "glue stick boy", I wish he wore a cape and tights. Ivan works in collage - glue stick boy stands by to glue up pieces Ivan hands him. Not a bad idea, really. Who wants to get glue on their fingers? It always smudges the page.
