Burgundy & Burgers & one year old!

somehow, it's actually NOT hard for me to believe that this blog is already one year old. I'd like to celebrate this weekend with a dinner of burgers and burgundy wine, and a cake with one candle.

That would be Catherine & Gabe's baby.... coming ANY MINUTE NOW!

Baxter and I

Baxter and I looking poetic. This is sketchwork for (yet another) class project.

Rashomon

I am "studying" this movie for class. Rashomon (1951). It won handfuls of awards for its ground breaking stories, new camera techniques, etc. All I can say is... it is truly painful to watch and I am thankful for all the moviemaking imporvements of the 20th century.
